Recognition and Incentives
As part of our focus on quality, we use a range of motivational
tools including training, development, appraisals, recognition
and incentive schemes. All of these improve staff performance
instil pride in working for ASCS. These include:
Site Specific Awards
A number of sites have their own specific awards to recognise
individual or team performance and achievements; e.g. employee
of the month. The awards generally take the form of Gift Vouchers.
Employee Referral Scheme
Employees can qualify for a Referral Bonus by introducing new
employees to the company. The introducing employee will receive
a payment when an introduced candidate starts work.
Annual Recognition Awards
These recognition awards are made annually. The winners are decided
by the Managing Director, in consultation with the Senior Management
Team, in accordance with set criteria for various positions and
achievements.

Staff Communication
Communication within ASCS with staff operating on customer
locations, providing a "Best in Class" service is vital.
ASCS has introduced several methods to keep all employees informed.
These include:
Newsletter
The "Spotlight on Spotless" is an employee newsletter
designed to enhance the communication amongst employees at the
various sites. All employees are encouraged to contribute with
articles of interest, achievements, and other such information
to share experiences, expertise, amongst the staff.
Staff Letters
Personalised letters are sent direct to employees when a specific
matter needs to be communicated in a targeted, urgent or confidential
manner.
Employee Survey
We realise that motivating our staff requires continuous attention
and to this end we invest in an employee survey to measure staff
satisfaction in key areas.
