TUPEUnder TUPE legislation (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment), the incoming service provider is obliged to offer each employee the opportunity to retain their positions at the Harvey Centre. ASCS are experienced in dealing with staff throughout a TUPE transfer and offer counselling to each individual to alleviate any fears or concerns. Due to the sensitivity and critical nature of the TUPE process the 'Counselling In' process is managed directly by our Regional Managers and supported by Head Office in respect of technical or legal issues. ASCS would hope that each employee accepts the opportunity to transfer to our organisation. In the event that the current personnel accept an offer for alternative employment elsewhere within the incumbent's organisation, ASCS would resource the new projectwith new or existing ASCS employees. We have a great deal of experience in transferring staff from clients and competitors, as well as employing and training new personnel to provide a seamless transition to ASCS. The transition plan below details the focus given to the TUPE process. This level of attention to staff continues throughout the contract implementation with the aim of alleviating fears and supporting all staff at a time when many feel vulnerable.
